Fit Guide
Two measurements tell you which size to order. Take them before you buy.
What you need
- A soft tape measure (a piece of string and a ruler also works)
- Your dog standing normally, not sitting or lying down
- A treat, if that helps your dog hold still
Measurement 1 — chest girth (the one that matters most)
Wrap the tape around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape snug but not tight, and write the number down in inches.
Measurement 2 — neck
Measure around the base of the neck where a collar naturally sits — low on the neck, above the shoulders, not up under the jaw. Snug, not tight.

Between sizes?
Email us both measurements and your dog's breed and weight before you order. We check them against the manufacturer's chart and reply with the size that fits the ranges above. We don't publish generic sizing advice of our own.
Check the fit when it arrives
Use the manufacturer's fitting instructions that come with the harness. The harness should sit snug enough that it doesn't shift when you take up the leash, and loose enough that nothing rubs.
